Saralyn Louise Crawford Spires

Mrs. Saralyn Louise Crawford Spires, 67, of Macedin Drive, Douglasville, Georgia passed away Monday, August 7, 2006 at Heartland Hospice in Austell, Georgia. She was born February 15, 1939, in Orlando, Florida. She was the daughter of the late Mr. Dayton Crawford and the late Mrs. Veola Marshall Crawford. Mrs. Spires worked as a seamstress with Sewell’s Clothing Manufacturing Company. She was of the Methodist Faith. Survivors include her husband, Mr. Walden Perry Spires of Douglasville; her sons, Randy D Thompson, Thomas Joe Thompson both of Douglasville and Dion Perry Spires of Seattle, Washington; brother, Dayton Crawford of Douglasville; 4 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, August 10, 2006 at 11:00 AM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica with Rev. Jimmy Spires officiating. Interment will follow in the Draketown Baptist Church Cemetery.
