Selden Styles Harrison

Mr. Selden Styles Harrison, age 92 of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Wednesday, July 15, 2020. He was born July 23, 1927 in Carrollton, Georgia the son of the late Mr. John Ernest Harrison and the late Mrs. Georgia Ardella Johnson Harrison. Mr. Harrison proudly served our county in the United States Army. He was active in Boy Scouts for many years and was a long time deacon at his church over the years. Mr. Harrison was of the Christian faith. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Ethel Geneva Harrison; son, Steven L. Harrison; great grandchild, Elizabeth Lawler; sisters, Lynn Sutfin and Christine Ashmore. Mr. Harrison is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Steve Lawler of Douglasville, Georgia; son and daughter-in-law, Ray and Cathy Harrison of Douglasville, Georgia; six grandchildren; four great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive. Private Graveside services will be conducted Monday, July 20, 2020 from Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Interment will follow at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
