Seth Walter Cowart

Mr. Seth Walter Cowart, Sr., 61 of Crystal Bay Road, Villa Rica, GA passed away, Wednesday, September 3, 2008 at Redmond Regional Medical Center in Rome. He was born December 12, 1946 in New York, New York, the son of Mr. Elliott Cowart, Sr. and the late Mrs. Marcelline Spellman Cowart. He was a retired ship welder. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Belinda Marlin Cowart of Villa Rica; daughter, Tamika Cowart of Villa Rica, and Taliza Cowart of Florida; son, Seth Walter Cowart, Jr., of Villa Rica; brothers, Elliott Cowart, Jr., Otis Cowart, Ceasar Cowart, Neilson Cowart and Floyd Cowart, all of New York; 5 grandchildren, Airanne Garrett, Paris Scott, Mikeo Marlin, Jalen Cowart, and Tre’ Mason; and several nieces and nephew also survive. Memorial services will be conducted Saturday, September 13, 2008 at 11:00 AM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Rev. Terry McCullum officiating.
