Seva Vaughan Smallwood Mrs. Seva Vaughan Smallwood, age 93, of Douglasville passed away Wednesday, September 21, 2011. She was born November 2, 1917 in Douglas County the daughter of the late Mr. James Signal Vaughan and the late Mrs. Sally Fanny Smith Vaughan. She was a seamstress for Bressler Brothers in Atlanta for many years. She was of the Baptist faith and a long time member of Friendship Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Burnett Smallwood; sons, Jerald Eugene Smallwood, Charles Edward Smallwood; daughter, Debra Ann Smallwood; granddaughter, Teresa Lynn Mitchell; daughter-in-law, Mary Ann LaSoisa Smallwood. She is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Linda Smallwood Turner of Anniston, AL, Gloria and Roger Boyer of Bowie, TX; son, Larry Smallwood of Douglasville; Heidi Turner Rogers of Douglasville; daughter-n-law, Evelyn Smallwood of Douglasville; eleven grandchildren, Jerry Smallwood of Douglasville, Valorie Cruz of Marietta, Angela and Tommy Handley of Gadsen, AL, David Chambers of Troy, AL, Jessica and Jeff Craig of Hiram, Jessica Rodgers of Powder Springs, Heather and Clay Slover of Douglasville, John and Lisa Shannon of Dallas, Joseph Shannon of New Jersey, Scott and Kasey Boyer of Bowie, TX, Kristy and Jay Darter of Paradise, TX; twenty two great-grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Service will be conducted Saturday, September 24, 2011 at 3:00 PM from the chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville. Interment will follow at Friendship Cemetery on Highway 166 in Winston. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville Friday, September 23, 2011 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
