Shane Allan Wekkin

Shane Allan Wekkin, a cherished member of his family and community, passed away on April 1, 2025, at the age of 62. Born on February 17, 1963, Shane spent his life creating remarkable friendships and developing a profound love for golf, a passion that brought him so much joy.

Shane was deeply respected and admired for his warm heart and support for those around him. His ability to make lasting connections with friends was a highlight of his character, as he created a network that spanned far and wide. Golf was not just a hobby but a significant part of his life, and he found delight in sharing this love with others.

He is survived by his father, Stanley Wekkin, and step-mother, Carol Wekkin, both of Missoula, Montana. Shane is also survived by his brother, Tracy Wekkin, and sister-in-law, Christina Wekkin, along with several beloved nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Laurilee Wells Wekkin Rutledge and sister, Robin Wekkin Gray.

Shane leaves behind many memories, and while his absence will be felt deeply, his spirit will continue to inspire those who knew him.
