Mr. Sharion Dale Kidd, 66, of Winston, Georgia passed away Friday, September 12, 2008 at Wellstar Cobb Hospital. He was born February 7, 1942 in Fairburn, Georgia the son of the late Mr. William Kidd and the late Mrs. Jessie Boatwright Kidd. He married Martha Tucker on June 2, 1961. He was a member of County Line Baptist Church and worked as a brick mason. He was an avid outdoorsman who greatly enjoyed God’s creation, especially enjoying gardening, hunting and fishing. He was devoted to God and his family. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Mrs. Martha Tucker Kidd of Winston; daughters and sons-in-law, Terri and Ken Higginbotham of Winston; and Judy and David Crump of Powder Springs; his brother, Marvin Kidd of Villa Rica; brother-in-law, Mack Tucker of Wedowee, AL; sisters-in-law, Virginia Bailey of Senoia, Grace Tripp of Lithia Springs, Dorothy Singer of Douglasville, Doris Chastain of Apalachicola, FL, and Joyce Logan of Florida; 5 grandchildren, Bryan Harrell, Brittany Harrell, Cory Crump, Kyle Crump, and Carly Jennings; great-grandchild, Brady Jennings; several nieces and nephews and many friends also survive. Funeral Services will be conducted Monday, September 15, 2008 at 3:00 PM from the Douglas Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Pastor Jerry Adair, and Pastor David McLendon officiating. Interment will follow at County Line Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Douglas Chapel Sunday, September 14, 2008 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
