Sharon Elaine Joiner Pope

Mrs. Sharon Elaine Joiner Pope, age 59, of Douglasville passed away Friday, August 10, 2007 at Douglasville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born May 2, 1948 in Atlanta, Georgia the daughter of the late Mr. James Joiner and the Mrs. Lila Allen Joiner of Smyrna. She was of the Baptist Faith and was a homemaker. She is survived by her husband, Michael Leon Pope of Douglasville; one son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Teri Pope of Flowery Branch; her mother, Lila Allen Joiner of Smyrna; two sisters, Linda Lentz of Hiram and Patty Wheeler of Mableton; two brothers, Jimmy Joiner of Florida and Harold Joiner of Colorado; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Services will be conducted Sunday, August 12, 2007 at 3:00 PM from the Douglas Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with her son Kenneth Pope officiating. Interment will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Douglas Chapel Saturday, August 11, 2007 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
