Sharon Elaine Truitt Lindsey

Mrs. Sharon Elaine Truitt Lindsey, age 60 of Grovetown, Georgia passed away Saturday, February 6, 2021. She was born December 23, 1960 in Villa Rica, Georgia, the daughter of the late Mr. James Marvin Truitt, Jr., and Mrs. Eveline Ivey McBrayer. Mrs. Lindsey was a dedicated Christian woman. She sang in the church choir and went on many church choir trips. Mrs. Lindsey was of the Church of God faith. In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Lindsey; brother, Wayne Truitt; sister, Jane Freeman; nephew, Josh Strickland. Mrs. Lindsey is survived by daughter, Tristina Lindsey of Corpus Christi, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, Trent and Shelby Lindsey of Grovetown, Georgia; mother, Eveline Ivey McBrayer of Villa Rica, Georgia; sisters and brother-in-law, Barbara and David Rice of Villa Rica, Georgia, Lilia B. Messer of Canton, Georgia; three grandchildren, Jeffrey, Riley and Gracelyn; several nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home of Villa Rica Wednesday, February 10, 2021 from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at 3:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home of Villa Rica with Rev. K. Ray Looney officiating and Barbara Rice providing the Eulogy. Pat Robinson will be providing a musical selection. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the son, Trent Lindsey. The family asks that everyone in attendance wear a mask for the safety of the family and everyone attending the visitation and service.
