Mrs. Sharon Azalee Holman Fowler, age 62, of Austell, Georgia passed away Friday, May 22, 2015. She was born January 18, 1953 in Danielsville, Georgia, the daughter of the late Mr. William Olen Holman and the late Mrs. Ruby Wynn Holman. Mrs. Fowler worked as a school bus driver (student transportation engineer) for the Cobb County Board of Education for 24 years. She was devoted to family and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. Her favorite pastimes were reading and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was a member of the Parents Club Samuel S. Lawrence Chapter, Order of DeMolay and the CHVA Car Club of Bartow, Etowah region. She was of the Baptist Faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Helen Blackmon and a brother, Ricky Holman. She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Willie Marlow Fowler of Austell; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Chris and Amy Fowler of Powder Springs and Adam Fowler of Douglasville; sister and brother-in-law, Becky and David Shiflett of Jackson; brother, Billy Holman of Social Circle; two grandchildren, Andrew Fowler and Ashley Fowler; many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville, Tuesday, May 26, 2015 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville. Interment will follow at Mozley Memorial Gardens in Lithia Springs.
