Sharon Gail McEver

Mrs. Sharon Gail McAfee McEver, age 77, of Villa Rica, passed away, Friday, February 21, 2020. She was born October 30, 1942 in Detroit, MI the daughter of the late Mr. Raymond McAfee and the late Mrs. Willene McEntyre Daniel. Mrs. McEver worked for Big Buy for many years. She was a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Villa Rica. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William R. McEver; stepmother, Sue McAfee; stepfather, Joe Daniel. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Angie and Louis Gore of Villa Rica, Dana and Dan Trowell of Dalton; son, Jimmy Hefner of Rocky Face; brother, John and Sue Daniel of Villa Rica; half-sister, Vickie Toussant of Avon, IN; half-brother, Brad and Dottie McAfee of Carrollton, OH; two grandchildren, Tucker and Jillian "J.J."; two nephews, Chris Daniel and David Daniel also survive. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Sunday, February 23, 2020 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Monday, February 24, 2020 at 11:00 AM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Rev. Jeff Powell officiating. Interment will follow at Melrose Hills Memorial Park.
