Shirley Ann Betenbaugh

Shirley Ann Plyler Betenbaugh, 85, of Villa Rica, Georgia passed away on Friday, March 10, 2023. She was born on April 25, 1937. She is the daughter of the late Walter Gaines Plyler and the late Emma Ruth Plyler.

Shirley loved to go shopping for antiques, doing yardwork and going swimming. She enjoyed spending time outdoors.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband, Thomas Alvin Betenbaugh, Jr; brothers, John Wesley Plyler and Ronnie Plyler; and her sister, Peggy Richards.

She is survived by her beloved sons and daughters-in-law, Tracy and Tammy Betenbaugh of Villa Rica, Georgia, Perry and Robin Plyler of Chelsea, Alabama; brother, Walter Gaines Plyler, Jr. of Concord, North Carolina; grandchildren, Ashley Betenbaugh, Philip Betenbaugh, Samantha and Robby Coats, Stephanie and Chase Lauzon, and Conor Plyler; great grandchildren, Baker and Collins Lauzon, Stella and Harper Coats and Carter Lauzon; numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at 12:30 PM at Meadowbrook Memory Gardens. Pastor Chad Clifton will be officiating.
