Mrs. Shirley Dimple Stephens Gray, age 79, of Powder Springs, Georgia passed away Tuesday, February 28, 2017. She was born March 6, 1937 in Oconee County, Georgia, the daughter of the late Mr. Howard Stephens and the late Mrs. Elizabeth Smith Fortson Stephens. She worked as a Property manager at Grady Hunt at Sweetwater Shoals Mobile Home Park. She was a member of the Assembly of God Tabernacle and Pentecostal Faith. She was a strong Christian woman, strong in her faith. Although she went through tough times in her lifetime, she was a very strong woman. She was stern at times, but taught her grandchildren many life lessons. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Louis Gray; daughter, Anne Jeannine Gray Rogers; son, Rocky Gray; grandchildren, Lennie Ezzell and Mavis Ezzell; brothers, Alva Stephens and Ronnie Stephens; sisters, Lillian Swann and Maty Stephens. She is survived by two daughters, Tammy E. Adams of Lithia Springs and Connie Ezzell of McDonough; sister, Pat Tullis; grandchildren, Dawn Rogers Martin, Mallorie Chrysler Barton, Meagan Chrysler, Tangee Ezzell Paine, Paige Ezzell Silvers, and Kristian Clark; great-grandchildren, Brandon Staten, Jayden Staten, Ashton Martin, Katelynn Barton, Hailey Chrysler, Todd Junior Kelly, Dylan Griffey, Melody Griffey, Colton Chrysler, Aiden Chrysler, Isaac Clark, Mason Gonzalez, Lola Gonzalez, Madison Ezzell, Bailey Harris, Zander Harris, Harley Ezzell, Gracie Ezzell, Hayden Ezzell, and Lily Ezzell; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville Friday, March 3, 2017 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Friday, March 3, 2017 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville. Interment will follow at College Park Cemetery.
