Shirley Parson

Miss Shirley Ann Parson, 79, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Monday, February 9, 2015. She was born November 5, 1935 in Douglasville, Georgia, the daughter of the late Mr. Harvey Horace Parson and the late Mrs. Bessie Lee Wix Parson. She retired as a Vice President from Bank of America, formerly C & S Bank, where she worked for many years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Mattie Lou Parson Westmoreland and brother, Jimmy Parson. She is survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great nieces and nephews; and several cousins. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville, Wednesday, February 11, 2015 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM. Graveside Services will be conducted Thursday, February 12, 2015 at 1:00 PM at Sunrise Memorial Gardens with Gary Westmoreland officiating.
