Shirley Washington

Mrs. Shirley Ann Auvil Washington, age 77, of Paulding County, GA formerly of Vero Beach, FL, passed away Sunday, September 13, 2015. She was born August 26, 1938 in Philippi, West Virginia, the daughter of the late Mr. Harry Auvil and the late Mrs. Colleen Skidmore Auvil. She worked as a Citrus Manager at Sunbright. She was of the Church of God faith. She loved her church family and enjoyed gospel singing. She is survived by her husband, James Alton Washington of Dallas, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Ruth Ann and Walter Brown of Vero Beach, FL; sister and brother-in-law, Carolyn and Lonnie Blanchard of Thompson, GA; one grandson, Robert Brown; one nephew, Mark Harnage. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Wednesday, September 16, 2015 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM.
