Mrs. Shirley Ann Nicholson Womack, age 64, of Franklin, Georgia passed away Friday, June 22, 2012 at Grady Memorial Hospital. She was born August 23, 1947 She married Donald William Womack on November 23, 1967. She worked as a bookkeeper at Cherry, Bekaert, & Holland Certified Public Accountants and Consultants Firm in Douglasville. She was devoted to her family and she was an avid reader. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Mickey Womack. She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Don Womack of Franklin; her sons, Chief Chris Womack of Douglasville and Jonathan Womack of Franklin; her daughter, Angela Terry of Carrollton; stepdaughters, Cynthia Womack and Kelly Mills of Rome and Donna Womack and Lisa Weiner of Tampa, FL; sisters and brother-in-law, Chandra and Keith Fallin of Rome and Lesia Ray of Rome; ten grandchildren, Hannah, Jake, Jordan, Justin, Kelsey, Lily, Josh, Alaina, Maddie, and Curtis; one great-grandchild, Logan; several nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville on Sunday, June 24, 2012 from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Sunday, June 24, 2012 at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville with Sergeant Billy Wallace and Mr. Keith Fallin officiating. Interment will follow at Rosehaven Cemetery in Douglasville. Messages of condolence may be sent to the family at www.jones-wynn.com.
