Simone Torres Valery

Simone Torres Valery, 78, of Temple, passed away on Thursday, April 11, 2024. She was born on April 28, 1945, the daughter of the late Pablo Torres and the late Simone Torres Najac, 

In her career as a CNA and caregiver, Simone displayed unwavering commitment and empathy towards her clients and co-workers. Outside of her professional life, Simone's personality shone through her various interests and hobbies. She had a profound love for her family, finding joy in their company and peace in building her home, additionally, she had a deep appreciation for nature and gardening, which resonated in her soul and brought her moments of solace. Cooking was another passion of hers, where she poured her heart into creating delectable meals for friends, and loved ones to enjoy together. Her green thumb was evident in her love for gardening; she took immense pride in beautifying her surroundings to create a place of peace, and tranquility for us all. 

In addition to her parents, she is preceded death by her husband, Jules Valery.

She is survived by her children, Winfed Valery of Douglasville and Pierre-Richard Valery of Temple; three grandchildren, Cheyenne, Justin and Elijah Jules; nephews, Christopher and Jason; she had three brothers, Pierre Torres, Bruce Najac and the late Dechenot Najac, along with two sisters, Edwidge Najac Pierre and Vady Najac.

Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, April 23, 2024 at 12:00 PM from Jones-Wynn Funeral Home Villa Rica Chapel.
