Stanley Barry Camp, 81, of Temple, passed away on Sunday, June 1, 2025. He was born on May 16, 1944, the son of the late Ray Camp and Vivian Randall.
Stanley was a Vietnam veteran of the US Marine Corp. In addition to his service, he worked at Lockheed Martin as an aircraft mechanic for many years and he owned and operated Camp’s Lawn Care. He demonstrated excellent work ethics and he had a great sense of humor, always trying to make people laugh. He was a foodie, deer hunter, motorcycle enthusiast and even enjoyed roller skating in his younger years. Among his achievements, he was a black belt in Tae Kwon Do.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, David Camp; brother, Kenneth and his sister, Jeanette.
He is survived by his wife, Wanda Patterson Camp; children, Michael and Marcy Camp of Erwin, TN and step-son, Carter Jones (Jessica New) of Temple; grandchildren, Dylan Camp, Laney Lilley, Madison Boyd (Brantley); mother to his sons, Nancy Russell; several extended family members.
In accordance with his wishes, he was cremated. The family will have a celebration of life at a later date.
