Stanley Mason

Stanley Lee Mason of Lithia Springs went to be with the Lord on April 10, 2019 at age 72. Stanley was born on October 28, 1946 in Blairsville, GA. After graduating high school, he served in the US Air Force and later married his wife Ann. The couple moved to Lithia Springs, GA where they raised their family and actively participated in their church. Stanley was known for his strong work ethic and dedication to his family. Stanley will be forever loved by his wife of 47 years Laura Ann Mason; his son, Gary Mason and his wife Natalie of Dallas, GA; daughter Lisa Carter and her husband Chris Carter of Atlanta, GA; grandchildren, Brooke Barrett, Harmon Mason, Liam and Olson Carter; great grandchild Ella Jane Barrett; sisters, Shirley Anderson and her husband Bill and Linda Mason; brothers, Elmer Mason and his wife Joanne, Ernest Mason, Ervin Mason and his wife Ina; as well as nieces and nephews.Stanley will be fondly remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and uncle. His kind, quiet, loving spirit will be greatly missed.The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville, Tuesday, April 16, 2019 from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM. Graveside Services will be conducted Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at 2:30 PM from Sunrise Memorial Gardens with Pastor Danny Horsley officiating.
