Stanley Eugene McGuire

Stanley Eugene McGuire, 72, of Temple passed away surrounded by his family on Tuesday, September 15, 2026. He was born on May 18, 1954, the son of the late Homer Walton McGuire and the late Lilly Doris Taylor.

Stanley will be remembered as a man of God and a man of principle, a person whose life reflected faith, conviction, and a deep commitment to what he believed was right. He was also a hard worker, who approached life with dedication and determination.

Above all, Stanley loved his wife and family with all his heart. They were the center of his life and shaped the way he lived each day. He also loved his dog, Lil Bit, whose companionship brought him joy.

He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Ann South McGuire; children, Titus and Theresa McGuire of Cartersville, Lester McGuire of Temple; sister Linda Hobbs; brother and sister-in-law, Anthony and Beverly McGuire of Bremen; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be conducted at Meadowbrook Memory Gardens on Sunday, September 20, 2026 at 2:00 PM with Minister Patrick Gray officiating.

Stanley Eugene McGuire will be remembered with love and respect by those who knew him.
