Starla Carmelita Bufford

Starla Bufford, age 40 of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Sunday, January 24, 2021. She was born February 6, 1980 in Benton, Arkansas, the daughter of Mrs. Sandra Kaye Bufford and Lamar R. Sullivan. Mrs. Bufford was a good friend who could give really good advice. She loved to cook, listen to music, dance, go shopping, watch movies and provide for her loved ones. She loved being a mother and grandmother. Mrs. Bufford was of the Christian faith. Starla is survived by son, Kortland Drake Bufford of Douglasville, Georgia; mother, Sandra Kaye Bufford of Douglasville, Georgia; father, Lamar R. Sullivan of Douglasville, Georgia; sisters, Marla Franco Sullivan of Douglasville, Georgia, Tonya Sullivan of Bremen, Georgia, Stacie and Tony Williams; granddaughter, Ava Marie Bufford; as well as her favorite uncle William Bufford and several loved ones. Everyone knew Starla! The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home of Douglasville Tuesday, February 2, 2021 from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at 4:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home of Douglasville.
