Stephen Bailey

Mr. Stephen Allen Bailey, age 61, of Carrollton, passed away Thursday, August 29, 2019 at Kindred Hospital in Rome, Georgia. He was born August 14, 1958 in Wewahitchka, Florida to the late Mr. Gerald Dean Bailey and Mrs. Mildred Virginia Tucker Bailey. Mr. Bailey served and retired from the United States Navy. He was of the Baptist faith. In addition to his father, Mr. Bailey was predeceased by his brother Timothy Dean Bailey and grandmother, Belle Bailey. Mr. Bailey is survived by his wife, Roslyn Glover Bailey of Carrollton; his mother, Virginia Bailey; his sisters Annette Babb and Sherry Chase, all of Senoia; his nieces, Robin Thompson, Stephanie Babb and Courtney Glover and nephews, Ryan Burns, Michael Burns, Christopher Glover; as well as several great nieces and nephews survive. According to Mr. Bailey’s wishes, he was cremated and will be laid to rest in the family plot at Magnolia Baptist Church, Altha, Florida. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
