Stephen "Stevie" Wayne Capes

Mr. Stephen “Stevie” Wayne Capes, age 45, of Villa Rica, Georgia passed away Friday, March 4, 2011. He was born May 13, 1965 in Villa Rica, Georgia the son of Mrs. Martha Lee Latimer Capes and the late Mr. J.C. Capes. He was a Christian and worked as a carpenter. He was devoted to his family and enjoyed hunting in his spare time. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Jean Loyd Capes of Villa Rica; his mother, Martha Lee Latimer Capes of Villa Rica; his children, Kristy Davis of Temple, Randy Capes of Villa Rica and Jennifer Maduro of Temple; stepchildren, April Patrick of Senoia and Kim Grubaugh of Hiram; his brother, Ronnie Capes of Villa Rica; sisters, Brenda Collins of Temple, Linda Evans of Villa Rica and Kathy Thompson of Bremen; 6 grandchildren, Haley Davis, Logan Davis, Brayden Ivey, Brooke Loden, Bradley Patrick and Kirsten Patrick; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great nieces and great-great nephews and cousins also survive. Funeral Services will be conducted Tuesday, March 8, 2011 at 1:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica with Rev. Larry Argo and Rev. John George officiating. Interment will follow at Melrose Hills Memorial Gardens in Villa Rica. The following will serve as pallbearers: Randy Capes, Greg Lively, Anthony Lively, Kenneth Collins, Dustin Maney, and Dean Slaton.
