Steve Brooks

It is with deep, and heavy sadness that we announce the death of Steve Brooks, who passed away, Monday June 27th, 2016. He passed away peacefully during his afternoon nap to join his beloved mother “Eunice Davis “.Steve Brooks was born March 28th, 1964 in Atlantic City. While serving the United States Army, Steve Brooks was stationed in Germany and that is where he met his beloved wife Birgit Brooks. After proudly serving the military, Mr. Brooks and his family decided to move to America. There he worked for Caraustar for many years. He loved football, especially the Dallas Cowboys, Steve was their biggest fan. He had such a big personality with a great sense of humor, hardheaded but was the most loving and giving man on earth. His life’s memory will be cherished by his loving and devoted wife, Birgit Brooks; daughters and son-in-law, Loretta and Steven Lominy, Aylisha Amadasun, Lisa Koranda; sons and daughter-in-law, Kevin and Emerly Brooks, Emannuel Amadasun; Tyrell Brooks; sister and brother-in-law, Jasmin and Rance Cottingham; one grandchild, S.J. Lominy, and a host of several nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Saturday, July 2, 2016 from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday, July 2, 2016 at 3:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home. According to Mr. Brooks wishes he will be cremated following the services.
