Mr. Floyd Steven Smith, age 54, of Carrollton, Georgia passed away Saturday, September 17, 2011 at his residence. He was born February 6, 1957 in Douglasville, Georgia the son of Mr. Floyd Smith and Mrs. Edna Johnson Smith Upton. He worked as a carpenter. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Toni Knight Smith; one daughter, Sara Smith of Carrollton; his mother, Edna Johnson Upton of Douglasville; his father, Floyd Smith of Tennessee; brothers and sister-in-law, David and Jackie Smith of Roopville and Troy Upton of Douglasville; parents-in-law, Don and Jean Brown of Villa Rica; nephew, Daryl Upton and special cousin, Betty Wright of Carrollton. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Douglas Chapel, Wednesday, September 21, 2011 from 12 Noon until the funeral hour at 1:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Wednesday, September 21, 2011 at 1:00 PM from the Douglas Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Pastor Vic Rockhill officiating.
