Mr. Stroman Nathaniel “Nathan” Nettles, Jr., age 43, passed away on Sunday, February 3, 2019 and will be laid to rest on Saturday, February 9, 2019. He was born July 11, 1975 the son of Mr. Stroman Nathaniel Nettles, Sr. and Mrs. Debbie Hallman Ashley. He loved his family! He enjoyed camping, football, going to the beach, traveling, and many outdoor activities. He is survived by his son, Drake Nettles of Douglasville, Georgia; parents, Stroman Nathaniel Nettles, Sr., and Debbie and Tom Ashley of Douglasville, Georgia; brother, Mitch Nettles of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; Drake’s mom, Laurie Dial; step children, Dustin of Athens, Georgia and Emilee Dial of Manor, Georgia; step-sister, Angela Grizzard of Douglasville; aunts, Edna Bullard of Douglasville, Gail Hallman and family of Bremen, cousins, Cheryl Harris and family of Palmetto; several cousins of Walterboro, South Carolina; Lynn, Tammy, Shane, and Tina.The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home Douglasville Friday, February 8, 2019 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Memorial services will be conducted from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home Douglasville on Saturday, February 9, 2019 at 1:00 PM with Rev. Charlie Jones and Rev.
