Sue Spake Ward

Mrs. Sue Spake Ward, age 87, passed away on Monday, February 26, 2024.  She was born on September 12, 1936 in Temple, Ga. She is the daughter of the late Samuel Monroe Spake and the late Elsie Howell Spake.  Mrs. Sue had an unwavering love for her family.  

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas “John”  Verlon Ward and her Son, Thomas “Tommy”  Rodney  Ward; Sisters, Hazel Roberts and Ann Walker.  

She is survived by her daughter, Terri Ward Parks, of Temple, Daughter and Son in Law, Susan and Mitchell Jiles of Villa Rica; her Brother and sister in law Monroe and Opal Spake of Villa Rica; Grandchildren and Spouses, Brandon and Deanna Pritchett, Valerie and Aaron McCullough, Tyler and Jill Ward, Richard and Traci Jiles, and Katie Jiles; and several other nieces and nephews also survive. 

The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 27, 2024 from 5:00PM until 8:00PM and on Wednesday, February 28^th from 1:00PM until the funeral hour.  Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, February 28, 2024 at 2:00PM from the Villa Rica Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Rev Jeff Powell officiating.  Interment will follow at Meadowbrook Memory Gardens.

Gentlemen serving as pallbearers; Brandon Pritchett, Richard Jiles, Tyler Ward, Kason Ward, Kole Ward, and Aidan Hernandez.
