Susan Callaway

Mrs. Susan Carol Boleman Callaway, age 66, of Whitesburg, Georgia passed away Monday, October 7, 2013 following an extended illness. She was born January 7, 1947 in Atlanta, Georgia the daughter of Mr. William Desmond Boleman, Sr. and Mrs. Nellie Mae Hicken Boleman. She was a member of Bethany Christian Church and she was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by a son, Ronald Glenn Callaway. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Aubrey Drayton Callaway of Whitesburg; three daughters and sons-in-law, Anna and Shane Shoemake of Whitesburg, Diana Brown of Carrollton, and Crystal and John McElroy of Villa Rica; two sons, David Callaway of Columbus and Charlie Callaway of Whitesburg; her parents, William Desmond Boleman, Sr. and Nellie Mae Hicken Boleman; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Bill and Maxine Boleman of Whitesburg; and Harry and Claudia Boleman of Virginia Beach, VA; several grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Wednesday, October 9, 2013 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Graveside Services will be conducted Thursday, October 10, 2013 at 3:00 PM at Consolation Cemetery in Whitesburg, Georgia with Brother Allen Howard officiating.
