Mrs. Susie Louise Martin, 88, of Villa Rica, Georgia passed away Tuesday, October 16, 2007 at Tanner Medical Center in Villa Rica. Mrs. Martin was born April 1, 1919 in Carroll County, Georgia; the daughter of the late Mr. William Hosea Oliver George and the late Mrs. Etta Cash George. Mrs. Martin was an active member for over thirty years at Crossroads Full Gospel Church. She enjoyed embroidery and was loved by her family and many friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by seven brothers; two sisters; one grandson; and two granddaughters. Survivors include her husband, Mr. Robert S. Martin; daughters and son in-laws, Sarah Alford of Carrollton; Judy and Delmar Bankston of Temple; and Rachel and Dwain Duffie of Carrollton; son and daughter in-law, Billy and Joyce Martin of Temple; thirteen grandchildren; twenty eight great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be conducted Thursday, October 18, 2007 at 1:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Georgia with Rev. Neal Williams and Rev. Wayne Landmon officiating. Pallbearers will be Mrs. Martin’s grandsons. Honorary Pallbearers will be her granddaughters. Interment will follow at Meadowbrook Memory Gardens in Villa Rica, Georgia. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica Wednesday, October 17, 2007 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
