Sylvia McSwain

Mrs. Sylvia Lea Waddell McSwain, 80, of Winston, Georgia passed away Wednesday, January 3, 2018. She was born July 2, 1937 in Cedartown, Georgia, the daughter of the late Mr. William Waddell and the late Mrs. Eunice L. Allgood Waddell. She worked as an Office Manager and co-owner at Billy McSwain Plumbing for 32 years. Dedicated to family, she was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was an avid reader and loved working crossword puzzles. She was devoted to the Lord and loved everything about the Christmas Season. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Ray McSwain; sisters, Glenda Shelton and Joy Ann Deloach; and a brother, Billy Waddell. She is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Cheryl and Cheyenne Carroll of Dallas, GA and Billie Deanne McSwain of Winston, GA; one grandson, Sean Austin Carroll; several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville Sunday, January 7, 2018 from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM. Graveside Services will be conducted Monday, January 8, 2018 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Arlington Memorial Park in Sandy SpringsEntombment will follow at Arlington Memorial Park.
