Sylvia Nell Jordan

Sylvia Nell Jordan, 73, passed away on March 31, 2022. She was born on November 14, 1948. She is the daughter of the late Joe Robert Jordan, Sr and the late Catherine Lawrence. She loved her family and grandchildren. She enjoyed fishing and working word puzzles. She was an avid church member. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers Richard Jordan, Jerome Jordan and Charles Jordan. Survivors include her sons; Anthony Black of Smyrna, Mark and Kim Black of Monroe; sisters, Betty Yell of Bremen, Janice Toler of Terrytown, Georgia, Sarah Morgan of Shadydale, Georgia; brother Joe Robert Jordan, Jr. of Terrytown, Georgia; ten grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 6, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM. Interment will be at Melrose Cemetery in Villa Rica. The following will serve as pallbearers: Tony, Brandon, Robert, Brian, Steven and Shane. In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to the family to help with funeral expenses.
