Tammy Brewer Goolsby

Mrs. Tammy Brewer Goolsby, age 56 of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Tuesday, July 28, 2020. She was born April 24, 1964 in Atlanta, Georgia the daughter of Mr. Herbert John Brewer and Mrs. Emma Jo Chitwood Brewer. Mrs. Goolsby worked as a Claims Assistant for Amwins Insurance. She was a volunteer for the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, and the VFW. She loved gardening, bowling, animals, beaches, mountains and anything to do with outdoors. She is preceded in death by brother-in-law, Ernest Reid. Mrs. Goolsby is survived by her husband of 19 years, Mr. Chuck Goolsby of Douglasville, Georgia; son, Jesse Ian Brewer of Macon, Georgia; parents, Herbert John Brewer and Emma Jo Brewer of Jonesboro, Georgia; sisters and brothers-in-laws, Theresa and Wayne Howard of Franklin, Georgia, Brenda and Roger Mix of Kansas, Sandra Reid of Alpharetta, Georgia, Wanda Brewer of Jonesboro, Georgia; brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Sharon Brewer of Jonesboro, Georgia; mother-in-law, Rene Vaughn of Douglasville, Georgia, sister-in-law, Christy Goolsby of Douglasville, Georgia; father-in-law, Eddie Goolsby; several nieces and nephews also survive.
