Ted Lamar Harper

Mr. Ted Lamar Harper, age 73, of Newnan, passed away Tuesday, August 31, 2010 in Atlanta, Ga. He was born March 30, 1937, the son of the late Mr. John Marion Harper and the late Mrs. Hattie Lee Ledbetter Harper. He served in the Navy during the Korean War. He was a member The Church of God of Prophecy. He is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Anita and Robert Brown of Villa Rica; sons and daughter-in-law, Phillip Edward and Debbie Harper of Villa Rica, Christopher Ray Harper of Dallas; sister Lottie Gilmer of Douglasville; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Memorial Services will be conducted Thursday, September 2, 2010 at 4:30 PM at The Church of God of Prophecy at Duralee Lane in Douglasville.
