Terry Allen Canady

Terry Allen Canady, a beloved member of the Toccoa community passed away on December 25, 2023. Terry was born on April 4, 1968, in Toccoa, Georgia, to the late Mr. Roger A. Canady and the late Mrs. Jackie W. Moore and the late Mr. Marvin (Bud) Moore.

Throughout his life, Terry was known for his generosity and free spirit. Terry possessed a fighting spirit that propelled him forward in life. His ambition knew no bounds as he constantly sought new challenges and opportunities for personal growth. Another one of Terry's passions revolved around cars, particularly luxury vehicles. He had an eye for fine automobiles and he also took pleasure in working on his yard.

In addition to these interests, Terry cherished the companionship of his loyal canine friends that brought immense happiness into his life. His furry friends were always by his side as they explored places together or simply enjoyed quiet moments of togetherness. Terry will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He was not only a devoted son, but also a cherished brother, uncle and friend.

Terry is survived by his stepmom, Mrs. Elaine Canady; loving sisters, Teresa (Mike) Johnson and Kathy (Roger, Jr.) Gwin; nieces and nephews, Chris (Stephanie) Johnson, Raquel (Osei) Kemp, Jessica Ledford, and Heather Gwin; great-nieces and great-nephews, Anzley Johnson, Brooklyn Johnson, Addie Grace Johnson, Bailey Johnson, Isla Shelton, and Derek Shelton.

A memorial service will be held at Grace Baptist Church in Villa Rica on Sunday, January 7, 2024 at 3:00 PM.
