Mr. Terry Wayne Gibson, age 40, of Whitesburg, passed away January 23, 2012. He was born August 21, 1971 in Greensboro, NC the son of Mr. Rabon David Gibson and Mrs. Dianna Ellen Jones. He worked for Argo Cement Company in maintenance. Mr. Gibson was a Nascar and Tennessee VOLS fan. He was a true outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing. He was a dedicated father, husband, son and brother who loved his family, friends and neighbors. Mr. Gibson was preceded in death by his father-in-law, David S. Pruitt, Jr. He is survived by his daughter, Tiffany Gibson of Douglasville; son, Tyler Gibson of Douglasville; wife of 18 years, Stacy Gibson of Douglasville; parents, Rabon Gibson of Dunlap, TN and Dianna Jones of Whitesburg; sisters and brother-in-law, Dana Campbell of Dunlap, TN, Melissa and Jospeh Reyes of Dunlap, TN, Donna Carlise of Whitesburg, Ruby Ann Gibson, Miriam Rose Gibson; brothers and sister-in-law, Randy and Connie Gibson of Dunlap, TN, Rabon Paul Gibson; grandmother, Grandma Ellen of Greensboro, NC. An abundance of additional family also survives. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville Friday, January 27, 2012 from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday, January 28, 2012 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville with Rev. Terry Wofford officiating. Interment will follow in Mars Hill Cemetery in Carrollton. Messages of condolence may be sent to the family from www.jones-wynn.com.
