Terry Mills

Mr. Terry Charles Mills, age 65, of Villa Rica, passed away, Monday, September 21, 2015. He was born March 26, 1950 in Chipley, FL the son of the late Mr. Harmon Mills and the late Mrs. Rosie Lee Hickman Mills. He retired from Waste Management after many years of service. Mr. Mills was a very giving and loving man, who loved joking around putting a smile on everyone’s faces. He loved his family and grandchildren most of all. He had a deep Christian faith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Tommy Mills; sisters, Carolyn Vasquez, Shirley Crews, Cathy Shunnarah, and Sue Tutton. He is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Angie and Ben Slay of Douglasville, Misty and Michael Williams of Dallas; son Michael Lillard of Temple; sisters and brothers-in-law, Jackie and George Diveley of Sharpsburg, Janet Mills of Palatka, FL, Dottie and Johnny Hunt of Wetumpka, AL; brother, Mike Mills of Jacksonville, FL; grandchildren, Terry Thomas, Autumn Slay, Benjamin Slay, Jordan Childers, Meagan Sapp, Samuel Sapp, Emily Sapp, Rylee Giguere, Landon Williams, Blake Williams, Destiny Lillard, and Ronnie Lillard; three great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Saturday, September 26, 2015 from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday, September 26, 2015 at 4:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home. According to Mr. Mills wishes he will be cremated following the service.
