Thelma Hayes

Ms. Thelma Uvah Hayes, age 95, of Douglasville, passed away, Friday, June 10, 2016. She was born February 10, 1921 in Fulton County, the daughter of the late Mr. James William Hayes and the late Mrs. Florence Rutherford Hayes. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Carlton Fred Hayes.She is survived by her niece, Diane and Ron Hammond of Dallas; Debra Teal of Douglasville; nephew, Randy and Renee Hayes of Douglasville; five great nieces and nephews, eleven great-great nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville, Sunday, June 12, 2016 from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Sunday, June 12, 2016 at 3:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Chaplain Sam Braswell officiating.
