Thelma Lee Robinson Clifton

Mrs. Thelma Lee Robinson Clifton, 74, of Nunley Homes, Villa Rica, Georgia passed away Tuesday, March 14, 2006 at her residence. She was born December 31, 1931, in Haralson County, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Melvin Jack Robinson and the late Susanna Hulsey Robinson. Mrs. McLendon worked as a home sitter in the home healthcare industry. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Clifton was preceded in death by her brothers, Henry Robinson and George Robinson. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Diane and J. R. Bowen of Athens; her sons and daughters-in-law, Ronnie and Marie Clifton of Newnan and Dickie and Tamara Clifton of Villa Rica; her sisters and brothers-in-law, Hazel and Stanley Hembree of Buchanan and Darlene and Charles Horton of Villa Rica; 11 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, March 17, 2006 at 11:00 AM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica with Rev. Shea Tallent officiating. Pallbearers will be Jeff Tallent, Randy Tallent, Joe Merritt, Jason Overton, Timmy Overton and DeWayne Overton. Interment will follow at Antioch Baptist Cemetery in Whitesburg, Georgia.
