Thelma Marie Dunnavant Taylor

Mrs. Thelma Marie Dunnavant Taylor, age 69 of Carrollton, Georgia, passed away Sunday, July 19, 2020. She was born January 30, 1951 in Camden, New Jersey, the daughter of the late Mr. Lynnwood Russell Dunnavant and the late Mrs. Clara Marie Reeves Dunnavant. Mrs. Taylor worked as a paraprofessional for Douglas County Schools. She was of the Catholic faith and attended Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Carrollton. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Taylor was preceded in death by her son, Peter Taylor. She is survived by her husband of over 43 years, William "Bill" Joseph Taylor, III of Carrollton; her children, Cheryl Taylor Woodall and Son-in-law Shane, of Douglasville, Georgia, William "Billy" Taylor of Sewell, New Jersey, John Taylor and Daughter-in-law, Betsy, of Carrollton, Georgia, and Daughter-in-law, Michelle Davis Taylor of Bahama, North Carolina, 7 grandchildren and 4 great children. Mrs. Taylor was a foster mother to Tommy and Andrew Sistrunk and Marian Scheuleac. According to Mrs. Taylor's wishes, she will be cremated, and a memorial mass will be held at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Carrollton, Georgia on Monday, July 27, 2020 at 11 am.
