Theresa Benike Paxton

Ms. Theresa Lynn Benike Paxton, age 55, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Saturday, October 13, 2012. She was born July 2, 1957 in Rochester, Minnesota the daughter of Mrs. Dorothy Agnes Waletske Benike and the late Mr. Walton Luverne Benike. She was of the Catholic Faith and worked as a customer service representative for Sandvik Corporation. She was devoted to her family and loved spending time with them. She enjoyed gardening and cooking. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her brother, Richard Benike. She is survived by three daughters and a son-in-law, Rebecca and Chad Wall, Emily Paxton and Betsy Paxton all of Douglasville, GA; two sons, McLain Paxton and Garrett Paxton all of Douglasville, GA; her mother, Dorothy Agnes Waletske Benike; brother, Patrick Benike of Thomson, GA; one grandson, Ethan Paxton Vuong. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Douglas Chapel, Tuesday, October 16, 2012 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted Wednesday, October 17, 2012 at 11:00 AM at St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Lithia Springs. Interment will follow at Mozley Memorial Gardens. Following the committal service a celebration of life reception will be held at the Paxton Family Home located at 1810 Mount Berry Drive, Douglasville, Georgia 30135.
