Theron Beck

Mr. Theron Ganaway “T. G.” Beck, age 79, of Franklin, Georgia, passed away, Wednesday, September 30, 2015. He was born August 21, 1936 in Piedmont, AL the son of the late Mr. Milton Claude Beck and the late Mrs. Myrtle Hudgins Beck. Mr. Beck was an avid hunter and fisherman loving the outdoors. He was the oldest living kidney transplant patient from Piedmont Hospital. Mr. Beck worked in the Railroad Industry for many years. He was a member of Church of God. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.He is survived by his wife, Rita Faye Beck of Franklin; daughter, Pam Beck of Bremen; son and daughter-in-law, Aaron and Judy Beck of Temple; sister and brother-in-law, Lorraine and Ray Adams of Douglasville; brother, Donnie Beck of Austell; four grandchildren, Brent Beck, Daniel Williams, Jennifer Beck and Skye Smith; three great-grandchildren, Seth Williams, Devin Smith, and Barrett Williams; several nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica Sunday, October 4, 2015 from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Sunday, October 4, 2015 at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Rev. Harvey Bowlin officiating.
