Thersa Ann Carl Kirkland

Mrs. Thersa Ann Carl Kirkland, age 67, of Villa Rica, passed away, Thursday, October 31, 2019. She was born April 25, 1952 in Alexandria, VA the daughter of the late Roy Alfred Carl, Jr. and the late Runell Thompson Carl. Mrs. Kirkland worked at Wal-Mart for many years. She enjoyed reading, sitting in her yard on her swing, loved to cook and provide for her family. She loved spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren. She was a very pleasant and joyful lady, had a loving and caring heart for everyone, always putting their needs before hers. She is survived by her husband, William David Kirkland of Villa Rica; daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and William Guinn of Douglasville; son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Shameka Kirkland of Smyrna; sisters and brother-in-law, Jackie Evans of Stockbridge, Betty and Jimmy Bailey of ¬¬¬¬¬¬Orchard Hill, Debbie Garrett of McDonough; brother and sister-in-law, Roy and Claudia Carl III, of Monticello; four grandchildren, Payton , ZaMario, William and Nathaniel; one great-grandchild, Kace; several nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Monday, November 4, 2019 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Tuesday, November 5, 2019 at 11:00 AM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Rev. Judson Barnes officiating.
