Thomas Hunt

Mr. Thomas Edward Hunt, age 69, of Villa Rica, passed away, Monday, July 24, 2017. He was born September 16, 1947 in Muskegon, MI the son of the late Mr. Edward Thomas Hunt and the late Mrs. Ruth Adams Hunt. Mr. Hunt served in the United States Navy as an Aviator for 24 years. Mr. Hunt received an Associate’s Degree and a Bachelor’s Degree in Education. After retiring from the Navy he worked in trucking. He also taught Middle School. He was an avid University of Michigan Fan and longtime member of First United Methodist Church of Villa Rica.He is survived by his wife, Christine Eggers Hunt of Villa Rica; daughter and son-in-law, Katie and Jonathan Welish of Box Elder, SD; son and daughter-in-law, Tim and Penny Hunt of Tampa, FL; sister and brother-in-law, Linda and David Beattle of Michigan; seven grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends at First United Methodist Church, Saturday, July 29, 2017 from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM. Memorial Services will be conducted Saturday, July 29, 2017 at 1:00 PM from the Chapel of First United Methodist Church with Rev. Eric Mays and Rev. James Smith officiating.
