Mr. Staff Sargent Thomas Irwin Cranmer, age 89 of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Thursday, May 28, 2020. He was born May 23, 1931 in Marietta, Georgia the son of the late Mr. Chester Elta Cranmer and the late Mrs. Mary Caroline Thompson Cranmer. Mr. Cranmer was a United States Air Force Veteran. He proudly served for 30 years as a Flight Test Flightline lead man at Lockheed.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Patsy Jean Cranmer; sister, Nadine Reed; brothers, Wesley Cranmer, Bobby Cranmer.
Mr. Cranmer is survived by daughters, Dee Dee Cranmer of Lithia Springs, Georgia, Leona Carver of Douglasville, Georgia; son and daughter-in-law, Louis and Becky Hodnett of North Carolina; sisters, June Brannon of Marietta, Georgia, Joyce Holloway of California; brother, Paul Cranmer; four grandchildren, Ashley and Joe Lux, Gary Carver, Stacey Hodnett, Daniel and Ashley Carver; six great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive.
A Private Service will be held at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, Georgia.
