Thomas Moore

Mr. Thomas Ralph Moore, age 79, of Temple, passed away Wednesday, April 17, 2019. He was born September 25, 1939 in Winston the son of the late Mr. James Henry Moore and the late Mrs. Eula Elizabeth Ivey Moore. Mr. Moore retired from General Motors. He loved gardening, reading, fishing, and was an avid fan of football and baseball.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Swann Moore; brothers, James Harvey Moore, William Fred Moore, Albert Ray Moore, Clarence Eugene Moore, William Edward Moore, and Sammy Ivey; sisters, Bertie Lee Moore, Mary Pearl Moore Whitehead, and Eleanor Jean Moore Curry.He is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Elizabeth “Libby” and Troy Thibodaux of Terrytown, LA, Lhonda and Darren Edwards of Carrollton; sons and daughters-in-law, Jeff and Tiana Moore of Temple, Lanny Ray and Sandy Watkins of Bowdon; sister, Opal Moore Long of Whitehouse, TN; ten grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Friday, April 19, 2019 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM and Saturday, April 20, 2019 from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday, April 20, 2019 at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Swafford officiating.
