Thomas Smith, Jr.

Mr. Thomas James Smith, Jr., 51, of Lithia Springs, Georgia passed away February 15, 2017. He was born December 19, 1965 in East Meadow, New York. He retired from the U.S. Army as a Sergeant First Class. He was preceded in death by his mother, Johnnie Doris Holmes. He is survived by his son, Brandon Smith; daughter, Shayla Smith; father, Abdul Haaq Aidal Balal; sisters, Teresa Smith and Gwen Lucas; several extended family. Graveside Services will be conducted Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton with Full Military Honors provided by members of the United States Army Honor Guard.
