Thomas "Tommy" Darrell Phillips

Mr. Thomas "Tommy" Darrell Phillips, age 49, of Temple, passed away, Tuesday, March 31, 2020. He was born April 1, 1970 in Atlanta the son of the late Mr. Joel Daniel Phillips and Mrs. Janice Doss Phillips. Mr. Phillips graduated from Osborne High School in 1988, and attended Southern Tech College on a baseball scholarship. He was an avid hunter, outdoorsman and fisherman, fishing in several tournaments with his brother. Tommy had a great sense of humor, he loved all people and never meeting a stranger. He loved his girls very much. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Tweed Phillips and Louis Phillips; maternal grandparents, Elva Faye and James Marion Doss, Jr.; aunt, Cherry Lyne Doss. He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Dawn Bell Phillips of Villa Rica; daughters, Zanna Bell of Villa Rica, Madison Phillips of Villa Rica; mother, Janice Doss Phillips of Temple; brother and sister-in-law, Chris and Angela Phillips of Temple; mother-in-law, Margie Bell of Villa Rica; one niece, Chloe Phillips also survives. The family will have a private viewing at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica. Private Funeral Services will be conducted from Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Minister Jeff Pate officiating.
