Mr. Timothy Alan Gillespie, age 55, of Roopville, Georgia passed away Wednesday, March 17, 2010. He was born January 28, 1955 in Atlanta, Georgia the son of Mr. Willie Radford Gillespie and Mrs. Frances Presnal Gillespie. He was of the Baptist Faith and worked as a service manager at Scott Evans Dodge Chrysler Jeep in Carrollton. His favorite pastime was spending time with his grandchildren. He was an athletic man who enjoyed working out and was an avid wrestler. He was a member of the North Georgia Wrestling Association. He enjoyed riding Harley Davidson motorcycles, horseback riding and playing the trumpet. He is survived by two daughters and son-in-law, Julie Ruby and Samuel Camp of Aragon and Brandy Tammy Gillespie of Villa Rica; parents, Willie Radford Gillespie and Frances Presnal Gillespie of Douglasville; sister and brother-in-law, Ginny and Danny Underwood of Winston; brother and sister-in-law, Gregory Neil and Kim Gillespie of Conyers; 4 grandchildren, Audrey Gillespie, Katelynd Camp, Patrick Spagnola, Jr. and Ashley Spagnola; niece, Lauren Underwood and nephew, Jonathan Underwood; several aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive. Funeral Services will be conducted Tuesday, March 23, 2010 at 2:00 PM from the Douglas Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Pastor Michael Craft officiating. Interment will follow at Rosehaven Cemetery with the following serving as pallbearers: Danny Underwood, Greg Gillespie, Jonathan Underwood, Chad Everette, Barry Evans, Samuel Camp, and Patrick Spagnola, Jr. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Douglas Chapel, Monday, March 22, 2010 from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 6931 Arlington Road, 2nd floor, Bethesda, Maryland 20814.
