Timothy Brian Cherry, age 47, of Jacksonville, Alabama passed away January 11, 2013. He was born January 10, 1966 in Akron, Ohio the son of the late Mr. Roosevelt Cherry and the late Mrs. Bernice McCants Cherry. He was a Christian by faith. He worked as the Public Health Administrator for Calhoun County, Alabama Health Department. He married Kama Sudduth on January 10, 2001 in Anniston, Alabama. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Cassandra. He is survived by his wife, Kama Sudduth Cherry of Waterbury, CT; daughters, Brenna Cherry of Long Island, NY, Tristan Cherry Lawrence of Akron, OH, and Salice Cherry of Jacksonville, AL; sons, Tremont Cherry of Waterbury, CT and Brandon Sudduth of Jacksonville, AL; sister, Linda Cherry of Atlanta; brothers, Randy Cherry of Paris, France, Tracey Cherry and Steven Cherry both of Akron, OH; one grandchild, Kamden Cherry; aunts, Brenda Smith and Avie Boyer of Akron, OH; great-aunt, Ruby Carter of Akron, OH; uncles, James McCant, Leroy McCant, Chris McCant, and Samuel McCant; one special niece, Stephanie; several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives also survive. According to this familyâs wishes, his body was cremated. A memorial service celebrating his life will be held Saturday, January 19, 2013 in Connecticut.
