Timothy Rodney Rush

Mr. Timothy Rodney Rush, age 41, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Sunday, October 22, 2006 at his residence. He was born November 6, 1964 in Carroll County, Georgia the son of Mr. Curtis Cecil Rush and Mrs. Jimmie Brenda Spain Edwards. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Douglasville and worked in the sales department for Peachtree Packaging. He enjoyed golf and traveling. He is survived by one daughter, Whitney Nikole Rush of Douglasville; one son, Joshua Deven Rush of Douglasville; his mother, Jimmie Brenda Spain Edwards; his father, Curtis Cecil Rush of Dahlonega; one sister, Cristy Shutley of Paulding County, Georgia; one brother, James “Jimmy” Cecil Rush of Zebulon; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, October 26, 2006 at 2:00 PM from the Douglas Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Rev. Wendell Rush officiating. Interment will follow at Rosehaven Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Douglas Chapel Wednesday, October 25, 2006 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
