Tommie Kirk

Mrs. Tommie Ann Gallman Kirk, age 81, of Douglasville, passed away December 23, 2016. She was born April 19, 1935 in Villa Rica, the daughter of the late Henry Gallman and the late Mrs. Ovie Leona Gray Gallman Spillers. She loved her family, church, gardening, cooking, traveling out West and bird watching. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David George Kirk; brothers, Burt Gallman and Demeris Kirk; step-father, Dillard “Matt” Spillers.She is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Teresa and Russ King of Douglasville, Cindy Schmidt of Douglasville; grandchildren, Katie and Christopher Cash of Kennesaw, David and Nicci Schmidt of Dallas, Taylor King of Douglasville, Tyler and Emily King of Savannah; three great-grandchildren, Amela Jane King, Jaxxon Schmidt, and Callee Schmidt; brother and sister-in-law, Curtis and Chris Gallman of Conyers; sister-in-law, Lavonne Gallman of Oklahoma; several nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville, Monday, December 26, 2016 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Pastor Tommy Chapman officiating. Interment will follow at Praise Tabernacle Cemetery.
